Bending Steel: Hot Rolled Steel Round Bar: Bridge of Nose: 1 min:56 sec. Frank Delventhal
On May 4, 2020 Frank Delventhal, Hamburg, Germany, bent a 16mm x 120cm hot rolled steel round bar across the bridge of his nose.
As a protection for the eyes, 3 standard paper towels wrapped around the bar. As hand padding, one piece of cut to 12.5cm x 25cm was wrapped on each end of the bar and each secured with a piece of tape and a rubber band.
The bar was bent to achieve an inner measurement of 80cm or less (78.7cm) creating an inner angle of less than 90 degrees.
